Viking Air Travel Services

Should you wish to book your airfares through Viking Cruises, please contact our reservation team. Alternatively, you are welcome to make you own air arrangements.

FLIGHT OFFERS TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  • Included Flights and Flight Credits will be booked by Viking and with Viking’s choice of airline from major gateway cities in Australia and New Zealand. Should the applicable airfare be higher than the value of the Included Flights or Flight Credit, guests are required to pay the difference. Any unused portion of the Included Flights or Flight Credit is forfeited and cannot be transferred towards any other portion of the booking or any other person. Flights are subject to availability. Flight offers only valid if booked in conjunction with a selected Viking cruise.
  • For bookings with an air component, a non-refundable deposit advised at time of booking is required to secure a confirmed reservation within 3 days of booking otherwise the reservation may automatically cancel.
  • A 72-hour air schedule notification will be sent for review before we proceed with ticketing. Any changes requested after the 72-hour air schedule notification are subject to a fee of AU$50.00 per person in addition to any change fee the airline charges. Guests who make bookings more than 10 months prior to the departure date are permitted to make one complimentary change once the 72-hour air schedule notification is received. Guest information form is to be completed before the flights are scheduled.

CUSTOM AIR

$250 per person Custom Air fee for Economy and $500 per person for Business Class will apply if you wish to:

  • Nominate the airline
  • Add an en-route stopover to/from Europe or Russia
  • Travel as a party of 3 or more passengers and wish to be booked on the same flight
  • Choice of airlines: British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways or Thai Airways
  • Choice of stopover cities: Bangkok, Doha, Dubai, Hong Kong or Singapore

Please note that a Custom Air fee is not applicable if you have purchased a Viking Included Flight or Viking Flight Credit offer since May 2020. 

  • British Airways – Singapore in one or both directions
  • Cathay Pacific – Hong Kong in one or both directions
  • Emirates - Dubai in one or both directions
  • Qatar Airways – Doha in one direction only
  • Qantas - Singapore in one or both directions
  • Singapore Airlines – Singapore in one or both directions
  • Thai Airways – Bangkok in one or both directions
  • Gateway deviation is permissible to the following cities: Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Helsinki, Istanbul, Lisbon, London (Heathrow), Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Munich, Nice, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Venice, Vienna, Warsaw, Zagreb or Zurich.

Viking will endeavour to meet your airline request. No specific flight times or flight number request will be accepted. Restrictions of availability, routing and fares provided by the airline carrier apply. Guests are responsible for payment of all stopover accommodation and other related costs. Custom Air is non-refundable, non-changeable, not redeemable for cash, non-transferrable, non-upgradable and non-redeemable for cruise credits. Airline schedules are subject to change without notice and Viking is not responsible for any additional charges and/or amendments which may be incurred due to airline schedule changes.
