Passports

Passports valid for at least six months following your visit, with at least two blank pages available for stamps, are required for all international travel. You are also responsible for ensuring that you and all other persons included in the booking satisfy all passport, visa, travel insurance and health certificate requirements. We do not accept responsibility for any refusal of travel or entry to any destinations or for any liabilities, losses, delays or expenses incurred through any irregularity in such documentation. If you have any questions about documentation and insurance requirements, you must raise them with Viking or your Travel Agent well in advance of your travel date. In the event we are asked to reissue tickets that have been lost, destroyed or stolen, and we have agreed to do so, you will be responsible for any charges incurred as a result.

We recommend you make copies of your passport photo page, visas, credit cards, driver’s license and any prescriptions, and keep these separate from your originals in case of loss or theft.

Visas

Requirements may vary and can change at any time. All guests should seek advice from their respective embassy, consulate or Travel Advisor to determine which documents are needed for their specific Viking cruise. Please be sure to obtain and carefully review for accuracy all your required documents prior to departure to avoid delays, denied boarding/entry or additional cost.

In order to assist with visa services for AU citizens travelling internationally, Viking has contracted CIBT, whose representatives will facilitate the visa process for Viking guests for a fee. Visit https://cibtvisas.com.au for more information regarding visas for your cruise. For our NZ guests, Viking works with Visa Assist & Exotic Holidays; please visit www.vassist.co.nz for more information regarding visas for your cruise.

Guests traveling to the United States of America require an ESTA; visit https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta for more information. For guests traveling to Canada, the eTA is only required for arrival by aircraft; visit http://canada.ca/eTa for more information. Entry into Canada by land or cruise ship does not require the eTA even if final disembarkation is in Canada.

Guests who hold a passport for a country other than the Australia and New Zealand should contact their respective embassy, consulate or Travel Agent to determine whether visas are required for their cruise.

Visas

Australian & New Zealand Citizens:

If you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a multiple-entry Vietnam visa and a single-entry Cambodia visa are required for this itinerary. E-visas are not acceptable for either country, as we enter by riverway. For those who are not citizens, please check with your consulate for visa information.

Note: For travel to and within Vietnam, it is very important that the full name on your air booking matches your passport exactly. Failure to provide this accurate information may result in one or more of the following: paying additional fees, cancellation of flights, airport delays, denied online check-in, boarding or travel. Viking is not responsible for obtaining visas nor advising guests of passport, visa or other immigration requirements.

Note: Viking is not responsible for obtaining visas nor for advising guests of passport, visa or other immigration requirements, so be sure to verify what is needed for your travels. You may be denied boarding or entry to some countries if you have not obtained the correct visas or documents prior to departure. Viking cannot provide any refunds for unused portions of your cruise/hotel stay or cost to change travel plans should you have missing or incomplete documents.
