We both loved it
This was our first-ever cruise but it won’t be our last. We both loved the ship, the staff and the itinerary. There was plenty to do but there was also enough time to relax. The size of the ship enabled us to meet almost everybody during the course of the week, especially with the open seating at meals. The food was great, the rooms had everything we needed for the week and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Wonderful memories
Wonderful cruise. Loved the free time to explore southern France when the boat was docked at night—we explored the markets and the tours were fantastic, especially the wine tasting and chocolate tours in the same afternoon! I have some wonderful memories of our last vacation together for our 36th anniversary in Paris, as my husband recently passed away. Thank you and your staff for a wonderful travel experience! There were also many singles on our cruise, so I am hopeful that I will be cruising with you again in the future.

Trip of a lifetime
This was a trip of a lifetime. The tours were informative and fun thanks to the wonderful tour guides. The scenery was the most beautiful we’ve seen. We could never have experienced everything we saw on our own in this amount of time. The ship was spotless, the food delicious and the crew couldn’t do enough. Tours excellent and educational
We loved the fact that the ship was small and it was easy to get from the dining room to the lounge. We loved the middle European staff, especially the bar manager. The tours were excellent and offered a very educational experience. We would definitely go with Viking River Cruises again.

Best cruise we have ever been on
This is the best cruise we have ever been on and one of our all-time favorite vacations. The ship was very comfortable, the staff was outstanding and the food was out of this world! The included tours were well done and the local guides were exceptional. We highly recommend the Portraits of Southern France itinerary. We can’t wait to take another Viking cruise.
