Exceptional staff and crew
We recently returned from our third Viking cruise and are in process of booking for 2012. The staff and crew of Viking Sun were exceptional. When Neil had a medical emergency in Germany we were accompanied to a medical clinic by our Program Manager, who was very kind and competent (though he claimed he was just doing his job). Included and optional tours are well-planned and so informative. We love having enough leisure time to enjoy the Old Towns and marketplaces. Meals and service were outstanding. We appreciate the work done by those we never or rarely saw. Thank you to all aboard Viking Sun.

I can’t wait to come back again
I was lucky enough to take such a great cruise with Viking! On the third day out I was unlucky enough to break my foot—but your crew was there to take care of everything I needed. The crew obviously takes great pride in their work and their attentiveness made me feel like they were family. The meals were delicious and the vegetarian menu was inventive and wonderful. Even though I missed some tours because of my injury, it was still amazing to see all the beautiful scenery from the comfort of my cabin, the lounge or the library. I can’t wait to cruise with Viking again once my foot is 100%!

Wonderful, comfortable and cost-effective
A wonderful, comfortable and cost-effective way to see five countries along the Rhine river. The scenery was spectacular, the boat relaxing and the staterooms were spacious—it was larger than our room at the Hilton in Brussels!

Crew went above and beyond
We were passengers aboard Viking Sun for your Treasures of the Rhine cruise when the Icelandic volcano erupted. Your program director kept us very informed and we certainly appreciated the housing and food you provided for those several days before we were able to fly home. I would say that your crew went way above and beyond the call of duty. All the passengers I talked to were very impressed with the professionalism and the good attitude of the entire crew. If I’m on vacation and the world has a problem I want to be on a Viking River Cruise.

Our cruise was wonderful
We were on Viking Sun for the Treasures of the Rhine cruise. Our cruise was wonderful in every way and was everything we had hoped for. The gourmet meals were beautifully presented and delicious! We also enjoyed the wonderful offshore tours at all the ports we visited. We look forward to traveling with Viking again.

Adventure of our lifetime

Much better than oceangoing cruise ships
The cruise ship was beautiful and the cabin configuration perfect. We were able to put away all our clothes with ease—much better than oceangoing cruise ships!
