 A pianist with the Mariinsky Theatre, Ekaterina participates in numerous concerts and tours with the soloists of the Mariinsky Academy.

Ekaterina Venchikova, Pianist Ekaterina was born in the city of Leningrad (U.S.S.R.) to a family of scientists. She is the winner of many regional piano competitions, and has her Diploma from St. Petersburg State Academic Conservatory Rimsky-Korsakov.
She regularly performs in festivals including the Valery Gergiev Music Festival
in Mikkeli (Finland), White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg (Russia),
International Festival of Jean Reis in Posos da Caldas (Brazil), and the
International Festival Three Golden Centuries of Romance in St. Petersburg
(Russia), amongst others.

 Elena is currently performing concerts as a soloist from the Mariinsky Theater and as a solo pianist in
Russia and abroad.

Elena Kholodova, Pianist
Elena was born in the city of Voronezh, Russia. She began to study piano at the age of five and immediately showed great promise. At 15 she won her first solo competition for young pianists at the International Young Talent Competition at the Golden Ring city of Vladimir (1992). Afterwards she went on to win the Vladimir Krainev Competition (1994) and the prize for Best Performance of 20th-century music. In 1997, Elena won the International Prokofiev Competition for pianists. Elena completed her musical training in 2002 at the Voronezh State Academy of Arts in piano performance. She studied there under the tutelage of Prof. Nina Filatova.
After finishing her studies, Elena moved to St. Petersburg to work as an accompanist and vocal coach at the Mariinsky Theatre's Academy of Young Singers. Elena received the honour of "Best Accompanist" in the 2005 International Rimsky-Korsakov Competition in St. Petersburg. She often plays for master classes, festivals and competitions for vocalists, including: The Mariinsky Summer Academy (2005-2008), Sochi Festival (2008), The International Festival of Song at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, the Dresden Competition (2008) and the Festival de Music (Menton, 2009).

Maya DiAnn Krivchenia, Soprano
Maya grew up in the rolling hills of Appalachia in a very musical family (Maya's mother is a voice teacher, her older brother a concert pianist and award-winning composer). At the age of 16 she left home to study opera at North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem with Marilyn Taylor. Maya's next move was to one of the top conservatories in the country, Eastman School of Music, in Rochester, New York. At conservatory Maya participated in the opera program and graduated in 2003 with honours and a Bachelor's of Music in vocal performance. She decided to continue her education in vocal performance at Ohio State University in Columbus with Dr. Karen Peeler. While at Ohio State, Maya won a prestigious Fulbright Fellowship to study Russian Opera and Art Song at the Mariinsky Theatre. Maya is the first musician to win a Fulbright at OSU, and is also the first American singer to be hired by the Mariinsky.
Maya spent 2005-2006 in St. Petersburg learning the roles of Tatyana and Iolanta and countless romances of Russian composers. In 2009 Ohio State University invited her to give a guest artist concert with Edward Bak, and she gave a series of benefit concerts in the San Juan Islands in Washington State with her brother Grisha.

Carlos D’Onofrio, Tenor
Carlos was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from the Conservatory Juan Jose Castro and perfected his skills at the Instituto Superior de Arte of the Theatre Colon, Argentina. He debuted in Theatre Avenida in Buenos Aires singing the role of Tamino in "Die Zauberflöte," followed by performances of Gonzalve from Ravel's "L'heure Spagnol", Grimoaldo from "Rodelinda" by Handel and Paris from Offenbach's operetta "Belle Hélène."
Carlos has sung widely around his native Argentina, and has performed in Uruguay, the United States and Scandinavia. In 2008, he was sent by the Cultural Department of the Argentinean Foreign Affairs Office to represent the country in the International festival "Three Centuries of Chamber Songs" in St. Petersburg. After his concerts, he received an offer to stay at the Mariinsky Theatre as a soloist.
